 About Us

Objectives of the Club
Establish community friendships through interest in gardens and gardening.
Provide a forum for educating members on aspects related to environmental issues and natural resources
​as well as gardening matters.

Render assistance in the area of civic beauty and support for local community organisations, where appropriate.
Conduct seminars, workshops and tours for expansion of knowledge as well as enjoyment.

Remain non-political and non-sectarian.

Coach Trips to Gardens of interest and Nurseries
Guest Speakers/Demonstrations
Purchasing and sharing plants, seeds and produce
Sharing knowledge and experience
Making new friends
Opportunity for newcomers to our district to become involved and meet local people
Discounts on plants from some nurseries
Participation in social functions

Community Activities
Surplus funds are donated to assist the community in accordance with the Club Constitution
Act as a co-ordinated group in matters of civic and environmental issues related to gardening.

Outings
Carpool trips to visit local gardens, including award winners
Bus trips to all districts encompassing many aspects of gardens both private and professional and nurseries

New and exciting activities are being planned continuously from member requests.
